Question: I've heard curcumin is more effective than prescription drugs, is this true?

When compared to conventional medicine, curcumin benefits equal that of many pharmaceutical medications. In fact, a number of studies have even reported that using curcumin is even more helpful than certain prescription drugs. When we also consider that one of the most powerful advantages curcumin has over any drug medical approach is the lack of side effects – the choice becomes obvious!

Question: I've heard curcumin is a powerful anti-inflammatory, is this true?

One of the most powerful aspects of curcumin is its ability to control inflammation.M.D. Anderson from the Cancer Center in TX, published the results of a study in the journal Oncogene, which evaluated many anti-inflammatory compounds and found that aspirin and ibuprofen are least effective, while curcumin is among the most effective anti-inflammatory compounds in the world. This news should have reached every person world-wide because inflammation puts people at risk for almost every disease known to man.

Question: What if I take blood thinners/antiplatelets?

Medical intervention includes various medications that slow and prevent blood clotting.

Some common side effects are excessive bleeding and haemorrhage, the risks associated with anticoagulants abound and include everything from back pain to headaches to difficulty breathing. Curcumin, on the other hand, has relatively no known side effects unless taken in extremely excessive amounts. Since several groundbreaking studies in the 1980’s, the curcumin in turmeric has been suggested by researchers as actually being a better option for those with vascular thrombosis (blot clot).

As always make sure to work with your health care provider.

Question: What if I take antidepressants?

Depression has been linked to reduced levels of BDNF.

Studies have confirmed that curcumin has a similar effect as antidepressants on patients suffering from depression by boosting levels of BDNF. Curcumin has also been shown to boost the brains neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine.Curcumin proved as effective as Prozac in managing depression. The journal Phytotherapy Research, published the results of an innovative study where the authors conclude, “This study provides first clinical evidence that curcumin may be used as an effective and safe modality for treatment in patients with MDD .”

Volunteers were split into three groups: curcumin treatment alone, Diclofenac sodium alone, and a combination of the two.The curcumin group showed the highest percentage of improvement overall and significantly better than all the patients in the diclofenac sodium group – ta da!

Question: Will Super AGC help with my cancer treatment?

Over 2,000 published studies have shown curcumin combats cancers of the breast, prostate, liver, colon, lung, pancreas and more. Many of these studies have shown curcumin actually stops cancer cells from dividing. Curcumin has also been shown to trigger apoptosis, or programmed cell death, which is the body’s natural and necessary way of ridding itself from damaged cells.Curcumin has been shown to kill cancer cells and prevent more from growing.Unlike chemotherapy drugs or the breast cancer drug Tamoxifen (which by the way has been classified by the W.H.O. and the U.S. National Institutes of Health as a known human carcinogen with over 20 side-effects), curcumin has the ability to kill cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed.

The results of these studies are jaw dropping!

Despite the fact that curcumin has been extensively researched for decades and has demonstrated clear anti-cancer power in clinical trials, it is still not widely prescribed in cancer therapy as there is little financial incentive to do so. Drug companies cannot patent natural substances and without a patent there is no profit.A 2007 U.S. study using curcumin along with chemotherapy to treat bowel cancer showed that adding curcumin to the diet (1-2 tsp daily) killed more cancer cells than chemotherapy alone.

Question: Can I use it with my cholesterol medication?

Curcumin has long been known as effective as atorvastatin (trade name: Lipitor) in regulating epithelial dysfunction, the condition in which inner linings of blood vessels are damaged and plaque stick to artery walls, leading to heart disease.

As always work with your health care practitioner, but adding in a powerful substance like Super AGC will work with your body towards healing.

Question: What about IBS, Chron’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis?

Question: What about overall pain relief?

Curcumin has been proven to be more effective than celecoxib (Celebrex) in treating arthritis pain, for example. It has antioxidant, antiviral, and antifungal properties and it inhibits the function of molecules that play a role in inflammation because it contains high levels of natural pain-relieving COX-2 inhibitors. Curcumin reduces inflammation by lowering histamine levels and stimulating the adrenal glands to produce more cortisone, the body’s natural painkiller.

There are more than 7000 studies on this spice, so you can confidently try it for yourself and make your own remarkable recovery! Some of the most powerful and safest therapies are found in nature.
