Methylene Blue a Miracle Molecule or a Psyop?

Methylene Blue a Miracle Molecule or a Psyop?

Introduction to Methylene Blue

Methylene blue or methylthioninium chloride (MB) is an organic brilliant blue salt compound that has several extraordinary medical uses, and is also used as a dye or staining agent.  In the late 1800’s it was used as a textile dye and was the blue dye initially used to stain blue jeans.

It has been used for medical purposes for over a century, with a well-documented safety profile.  Throughout history, it has found applications in various areas of medicine. Early on, doctors recognized its antimicrobial properties and used it to treat wounds, infections, and even to disinfect surgical areas.

During World War I, methylene blue was successfully used to treat wound infections in soldiers, leading to a reduction in infection rates and saving many lives.  It was first synthesised in 1876 by German chemist Heinrich Caro and has since played significant roles in various fields, such as bacteriology, histology, and parasitology.

In 1891, Noble Prize recipient Paul Ehrlich pioneered the use of methylene blue as the first drug ever made for malaria. Ehrlich discovered that when MB was injected into animals in the lab, it would quickly concentrate in the brain and nervous system; it displayed a selective affinity for nerve tissue due to its stabilizing properties on redox cycling. MB also revealed an uncanny ability to selectively target diseased tissues in the body. [1]

The term “Magic Bullet” was first created by Paul Ehrlich because of the unique disease targeting action displayed by methylene blue.

Ehrlich noticed a curious phenomenon during his experiments: methylene blue turned live neurons blue and had the same effect on plasmodium (the parasite that causes malaria) in human blood. Ehrlich suggested that if pathogens could be stained with MB, such staining could have a certain detrimental effect on the pathogen. [2]

A few years later, he was successful in treating malaria with MB as a remedy. For the first time ever, Ehrlich cured an infectious disease using a synthetic substance.  Methylene blue began to be used as a drug to treat various diseases to eliminate only pathogens, without harming other tissues. [3]

Before prescription antimicrobials became available in the 1950s, MB was effectively used as an antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial agent.  Furthermore, MB also plays an important role in many diseases such as neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, as well as Candida albicans infections.  [4]

As a powerful antioxidant with the ability to target the brain, MB was used as an antipsychotic drug for 50 years before phenothiazine became the first "official" antipsychotic drug. [5]

In the 1990’s, the scientist Claude Wischik discovered the synthetic dye’s potential as a treatment for Alzheimer’s. Recently, there has been tremendous interest in methylene blue because of numerous studies showing that it improves memory, learning, and is both neuroprotective and regenerative. Powerful indicators for Alzheimers, dementia and many brain related issues.

At higher doses, it is also re-emerging as a possible treatment for various types of cancer, bacterial, fungal, protozoal, and “viral” infections, especially when combined with specific light spectrums. [6, 7]

Medical Use for Acute Poisoning

Most people today don’t know that if you overdose on a pharmaceutical or street drug, are poisoned with cyanide, carbon monoxide, swallow toothpaste containing the poison fluoride, are bitten by a snake, or eat a poison mushroom, methylene blue is the optimal line of treatment doctors will administer in such an emergency. In fact, MB is an effective antidote for virtually all chemical poisonings.

The story of methylene blue as an antidote for poisonings and drug overdoses began around 1930, after Dr Matilda Brooks suggested using it as an antidote for cyanide and carbon monoxide poisoning. Her recommendation was implemented by Dr. J. C. Geiger who then proved that MB is indeed a successful treatment against the toxicity of cyanide and carbon monoxide.

Since then, cyanide victims in emergency rooms worldwide have been successfully treated with MB administered intravenously. Methylene blue is famous for treating this life-threatening condition from breathing or eating toxic amounts of cyanide. It acts as an antidote by blocking the toxic chemical and transforming it into a non-toxic form which can be removed in urine. It works because it can go through the blood-brain barrier and spread to all body tissues, including the central nervous system.  Methylene blue is now known as an antidote for far more than just cyanide and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Methylene blue is used intravenously in hospital emergency rooms as the essential remedy for chemical exposures, overdose and any metabolic poison.

Methylene blue is so essential and routinely used in hospital emergency rooms for conditions like circulatory shock, neuroprotection, severe allergic reactions, overdoses and chemical poisonings, that US, Canada, Japanese, Greek and Italian scientists have recommended that hospitals stockpile it.

What is Methylene Blue?

Methylene blue is a salt compound with the molecular formula C₁₆H₁₈N₃SCl.  The core of MB structure is the phenothiazine ring, which consists of three benzene rings linked to a sulfur and nitrogen heterocyclic ring. This structural arrangement contributes to its unique proprieties. MB has two diethyl-amino groups which makes the compound both water and fat soluble and gives the compound its signature colour.

It consists of dark green crystals or crystalline powder, having a bronze-like luster. Solutions in water have a deep blue color. There are different gradations of quality and purity of methylene blue.

From highest quality to lowest quality:

  • USP (United Sates Pharmacopeia)
  • Pharma grade
  • Food grade
  • Reagent grade
  • Lab grade
  • Industrial grade

These grades are based on how many excipients, such as heavy metals like lead, arsenic and mercury are allowed to be in the product.  Methylene blue that is used as a disinfectant for aquariums is typically industrial grade or lab grade.  For purposes of human consumption, only USP grade is recommended

When methylene blue comes into contact with acids, it turns a vivid shade of blue.  MB is a cationic dye that directly targets, through electrical attraction to diseased and dying tissues.  It stains cells blue because the positively charged dye is attracted to negatively charged acidic tissues and particles such as polyphosphates, DNAs, and RNAs. It acts by attracting chemicals to biological tissues and binding to them.  As a dye, its blue color helps healthcare providers identify abnormal cells. It's used to highlight suspicious cells during diagnostic medical procedures.

MB is equally effective when used either intravenously or orally and it can also be absorbed transdermally.

Methemoglobinemia

Methemoglobinemia is a blood disorder seen in poisonings and overdoses of all kinds. Oxidized hemoglobin is unable to carry oxygen, so the ailment causes widespread hypoxia, which can be deadly if not treated quickly. The key to treating this condition is to restore the hemoglobin back to its original (non-oxidized) state.

MB is one of the safest and most effective ways to quickly restore the ability of hemoglobin to carry oxygen.  It works by converting the ferric iron in hemoglobin back to ferrous iron, its oxygen carrying ferrous state.

Methylene blue is a FDA approved compound used for methemoglobinemia and cyanide poisoning because it is a metabolic repairer (restores oxygenation of the cell; it gets every cell breathing so it can take in oxygen and spin out poisons).

It’s important to grasp that all chemical poisonings induce methemoglobinemia.  This is blood disorder occurs when hemoglobin inside red blood cells becomes oxidized and loses its ability to transport oxygen. Oxidized hemoglobin is called methemoglobin and its presence in the blood leads to tissue hypoxia. In the absence of oxygen, nitric oxide and a cascade of stress hormones and pro-inflammatory signals are increased and energy production in cells is subdued.

Once you understand methemoglobinemia physiologically, and how MB can correct the root cause of the problem, its value becomes clear as an antidote for virtually all chemical poisonings.

Symptoms of Methemoglobinemia

Common symptoms of methemoglobinemia include:

  • Blue fingertips (cyanosis)
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Confusion
  • Seizures
  • Coma
  • Metabolic acidosis
  • Chocolate brown-colored blood

Causes of Methemoglobinemia

  • Cyanide
  • Carbon monoxide
  • Sodium nitrite/nitrate
  • Acetaminophen
  • Formaldehyde
  • Pharmaceutical drugs
  • Snake Venom
  • Mushroom Poisoning
  • The party drug ‘poppers’ (amyl nitrate)

  • Heavy metals like aluminium, copper, cadmium, etc.
  • Fluoride, found in the water supply and commercial toothpaste
  • Chemicals found in household cleaning products
  • Chemicals found in drugstore shampoos, deodorants and soaps
  • COVID-19 also induces methemoglobinemia

The Ultimate Guide To Methylene Blue - Mark Sloan

“The world is catching on to the fact that all diseases are metabolic in nature, and that methylene blue selectively targets cells and tissues that have dysfunctional metabolism.”

Methylene Blue is Brain Penetrating

Methylene blue accomplishes many different things. It’s a blood-brain barrier-permeable antioxidant. One difficulty with many antioxidants is that they never make it into the brain. For example, many people supplement with GABA, but it’s clear that GABA is too water-soluble to ever get into the brain.

It is known to enhance mitochondrial function by increasing oxygen utilization and electron transport activity, acting as an alternative electron carrier to reduce ROS (reactive oxygen species) production.  Methylene blue is a brain-penetrating substance with accepted neuroprotective and regenerative benefits, along with antioxidant and metabolic enhancing effects.

Chase Hughes is a neuroscientist, the US Government’s brainwashing and interrogation expert training the intelligence agencies, and the world’s #1 human behavior expert.  He received the diagnosis of degenerative brain disease, Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and possible Mesial Temporal Sclerosis, resulting in neurons dying at a rapid rate. These are considered to be degenerative conditions without a cure. Chase Hughes has become a strong advocate for the use of methylene blue, after successfully recovering from his “incurable” brain disease using this miracle substance. Chase has several YouTube videos and has now written several academic papers on MB, including this one: (PDF) Neurological Mechanisms of Action and Benefits of Methylene Blue | Chase Hughes - Academia.edu

Methylene blue is being used to treat all types of brain disorders, depression, dementia, in cancer therapy, malaria, methemoglobinemia, urinary tract infections (UTI), cyanide and carbon monoxide poisoning. [8]

Methylene Blue is a Poison Eradicator

The poison clearing properties of methylene blue have been known for approximately 70 years.  MB mediates the inactivation of enveloped poisons in plasma, when exposed to visible light.

Author and researcher Sean Dickinson is convinced that MB is the solution to all diseases, including “viruses”.   His book provides great insights:  The Headmost Explanation On Methylene Blue For Beginners: Solutions To All Diseases And Viruses

The mechanism of poison inactivation involves binding of the dye to nucleic acid, absorption of light (sunlight and/or red spectrum light), generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), guanine oxidation in the viral genome. The first practical research involving phenothiazine photosensitizers in transfusion medicine was sparked by efforts to prevent transmission of hepatitis from pooled plasma administered during the Korean War. [9]

SARS COVID and other ‘Viruses’

Methylene blue is shown to quickly inactivate Herpes [10], West Nile [11], Hepatitis C [12], Ebola [13], Zika [14], HIV/AIDS [15 -18], Dengue [19], Venoms [20 ], Lyme and COVID [21].  Numerous studies have shown that MB dramatically increases the oxygenation of blood, decreases inflammation, and improves the immune response. These effects can be particularly beneficial for anyone with any poisoning, as well as radiation, COVID-19 symptoms, including respiratory distress and inflammation. Some specialists are now prescribing MB for “long COVID” symptoms.

https://doi.org/10.1590/S0104-79302000000200010

March 2020 a published study in China showed that MB can “effectively eliminate SARS-CoV-2 in vitro within 2 minutes”.  In October 2020, French researchers duplicated the study in their lab and came to the same conclusion: In very low doses, methylene blue possesses powerful antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2. Their study concluded, “We propose that methylene blue is a promising drug for the treatment of COVID-19.”  [21]

More recent science and a 2021 Iranian clinical trial provide ample reason why methylene blue should be your anti-COVID remedy.  [22]

A clinical trial in Germany 2024 concluded: Oral administration of MB demonstrated positive effects on improving SpO2 levels and reducing inflammatory markers in COVID-19 related ARDS patients. [23, 24]

MB photochemical technology has been proven to inactivate lipid enveloped viruses with high efficiency and safety. The present study aimed to investigate the SARS-CoV-2 inactivation effects of MB in plasma. [25]

Long COVID

The strange phenomenon known as “long COVID” appears to be, at least in some cases, a direct byproduct of getting “vaccinated” for COVID.  Prominent symptoms of long COVID are fatigue and brain fog. Because MB neutralises poisons and helps to increase overall body energy, it is reported to ameliorate many of these symptoms. MB is well known for its ability to enhance cognition and relieve brain fog.  There have been many positive anecdotal case reports supporting the use of MB in long COVID.  The Sponaugle Wellness Institute in Florida, uses methylene blue both orally and intravenously to treat long-haul COVID, babesia, anaplasma, and Lyme Disease to name a few conditions.

Shedding Effects

Although it is required by the FDA (and has been done for the other gene therapy products on the market), none of the COVID vaccines were ever tested for shedding.  It is now clear that vaccine sheds in the breast milk and semen. There is also evidence suggesting the vaccine sheds in both the sweat and breath.

Individuals report shedding effects after being in close proximity to a vaccinated person.  Many individuals affected by shedding are able to identify clear reproducible patterns of when they get ill from shedding after exposure.  Some afflicted report feeling brain fog, headaches, general malaise or strange rashes.

Furthermore, sensitive individuals notice particular characteristics of shedders, such as a distinct acrid metallic like odour for example.  One researcher believes that whatever is causing this smell behaves a lot like a pheromone. Likewise, Ryan Cole has shared that he believes the pheromonal process is a likely mechanism to account for much of what is being seen with shedding as female menstruation is highly sensitive to pheromones.

The most common effect of shedding is abnormal menstrual bleeding which can sometimes be very severe. Other common symptoms include nosebleeds, spontaneous bruising, tinnitus, rashes, headaches, reactivation of dormant “viruses” (such as shingles), briefly coming down with a flu like illness, sinus issues

Spike Protein

Methylene blue inhibits the SARS-CoV-2 spike ACE2 protein and protein interaction.  This action can contribute to its antiviral activity against COVID-19. [26]

MB is approved by the FDA for the treatment of methemoglobinemia and used for other medical applications including the inactivation of viruses in blood products prior to transfusion.  This inactivation provides a critical step in alleviating the damage caused by spike proteins.

The corona virus bioweapon has been shown to produce hypoxia, which is methemoglobinemia (cells starving for oxygen).  MB is immediately effective in reversing this condition and is now viewed as a RESCUE REMEDY for the damages caused by spike protein. [27]

Snake Venom

Is snake venom in the poison jab? There is growing evidence that shows that this is in fact the case. The implications of this theory proving correct may help provide a deeper understanding of the damages reported by the people who took the injection.

If you haven’t seen “Watch the Water” with Stew Peter’s interviewing Dr. Brian Ardis regarding his theory and research on snake venom as the primary culprit in the COVID farce, this is a good place to start.

Dr. Ardis followed a step-by-step process before realization that snake venom is likely at the root of this entire pandemic, and now he has confirmed it. He advises that we treat all Covid-19, Remdesivir and Jab victims as Venom Poison victims.

Virus Theory

With all the talk of viruses, I feel it’s pertinent to briefly explore the virus theory.

The word virus is derived from the Latin word “virus”, which means “poison” or “slimy liquid”, referring to a poisonous liquid, like venom or a noxious substance. In the world of science and medicine, the theory of viruses holds great significance and intrigue. The virus is a microscopic agent which is considered infectious.  It wasn’t until the late 19th century that the term “virus” began to be used specifically in the context of infectious diseases.

Over time, as the scientific theory expanded, the term “virus” became more specific, referring to a distinct category of infectious agents that are distinct from bacteria and other microorganisms. The multi-million dollar fields of virology emerged to study and understand these unique entities, and the name “virus” became firmly established in scientific literature.

Today, the term “virus” has become synonymous with infectious diseases, computer malware, and anything that spreads rapidly and has a detrimental impact. It is a powerful word implemented to enforce fear of invisible “dangers”.

What Science Calls Viruses May Really Be Exosomes

Consider that no scientist has ever found a virus in any sick person.  In the history of medicine, not a single study shows the isolation of identical particles that would represent a disease causing virus from any bodily fluid from a sick person.

The virus theory is only a working theory that has been largely accepted by the scientific community even though it has never been proven. There is a competing theory supported by a growing number of doctors and scientists called the exosome theory. Under the exosome theory, what are called viruses (including the coronavirus) are not actually viruses but rather exosomes, which are created by the body to fight disease. Exosomes are beneficial and not contagious.

In his book, Breaking the Spell, The Scientific Evidence For Ending The COVID Delusion, Thomas S Cowan, MD writes:

“If one takes any person with any “viral” illness – for example chicken pox, rabies, measles, AIDS or COVID 19, absolutely none of the published literature contains any evidence of any virus that was directly isolated from any bodily fluids from even one person suffering from these illnesses.

  • No Health institution from any government in the world disagrees (with the above statement)
  • There is no disagreement on this point from any virologist or medical doctor who works in or publishes in the field of virology.
  • And there is no disagreement about this statement from such institutions as Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Pasteur Institute or the Robert Koch Institute.

To prove this point, Dr. Thomas and his colleagues have collected nearly 60 written statements from government institutions from all over the world confirming that they have no examples of SARS-CoV-2 being isolated directly from any human being.”

“If all medical authorities agree that they can’t find and isolate “viruses” directly from any sick person, then all so called “viral” diseases are superstition NOT science.” - Dr. Thomas

Spanish Flu Epidemic

Most people, including most doctors, are not aware of Dr. Resonau’s experiments.

Dr. Resenau conducted experiments during the height of the Spanish Flu epidemic. He wanted to establish the means by which influenza was spread. He took 100 healthy volunteers who agreed to be exposed to the Spanish Flu. They were exposed to influenza under controlled conditions (even so far as putting the snot of an ill person into the mouth of a healthy person) but none of them contracted the flu.

To further grasp the extent of the experiments performed and the exposure of the fallacy of the virus theory, Read Dr Milton Rosenau -  Experiments to Determine Mode of Spread of Influenza https://zenodo.org/records/1505669#.X4DQ0y1q3mo

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are small lipid vesicles secreted by a variety of cells to dispose of waste, such as unneeded proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids.

The exosome theory holds that: as your cells are exposed to various environmental toxins and other assaults they react by bundling up genetic material into a tiny protein ball. These are called exosomes and as they are carried out of your body they serve a few different purposes in cellular communication and clearing out toxins.

Exosome Theory vs. Virus Theory

“Viruses” are nothing more than exosomes. These are just two competing theories for the exact same particles created from artificial conditions in a lab. One views them as invaders from outside the body while the other envisions them as beneficial messengers from within. The truth is that these particles are not pathogenic, originate from material within the human body, and have had various unproven theoretical functions applied to them.

Bioweapons, Microchip, Nanotech, Micro Plastics & Hydrogels

Fantastic research in live blood analysis has shown that methylene blue binds hydrogels, inhibits nano tech and dissolves rubbery clots.  Ana Maria Mihalcea, MD, PhD has been conducting experiments using MB and the Pfizer biotech.  Her work has shown vigorous scientific testing and is backed up by government and NGO documentation.

Dr. Ana Maria Mihalcea  - “Methylene blue is amazing. It looks like a vacuum cleaner for all hydrogels – this is what the literature tells us, but it is fascinating to see the effects under the microscope.”

Methylene blue has verifiable activity against the COVID19 bioweapon that can be seen under the microscope. In Dr. Mihalcea’s findings, EDTA/ Vitamin C are the fastest method to abolish the nano and micro-robots and micro-chips.  MB took a few hours but also inhibited all microchip assembly and nano- and micro-robots.

Dr Mihalcea was surprised to find that MB is “like a magnet to hydrogel and disables microbots.”  Using dark field microscopy, she reveals that within 20 minutes of adding MB to the Pfizer botech, the nano and micobots swarming action had been greatly reduced. In less than 24 hours “over 95% of the Pfizer BioNTech Solution had built classic Methylene Blue microneedles or solidified. No nano or microrobots are still moving and no microchips are seen.”

Her evidence shows that humanity has been infected with nano technology and surveillance tech – the exact same chemicals found when analyzing the mesogens, the compound that displays liquid crystal properties found in targeted individuals and they appear to be the same compounds she found in the blood of the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Electron Repair Mechanism of Methylene Blue

Georgi Dinkov, a respected expert in metabolic health shares profound insights on methylene blue’s role in reaching optimal health and treating a myriad of conditions, ranging from mental health disorders to acute medical emergencies.

Methylene blue is astounding for its ability to both donate and receive electrons.  It has the ability to integrate flawlessly into the electron transport chain (ETC), which plays a role in cellular energy generation. Unlike traditional antioxidants that either donate or accept electrons which then render them spent and require excretion, methylene blue possesses the unique ability to cycle between its oxidized and reduced forms indefinitely.

This continuous electron transfer process ensures sustained improvement in mitochondrial efficiency, which is the key for energy production and overall cellular health.

Georgi Dinkov emphasized that methylene blue acts as an emergency oxidant, stepping in to accept electrons even when essential co-actors like NAD+ are deficient.  This makes methylene blue capable of resolving metabolic issues associated with electron buildup and reductive stress. By maintaining the flow of electrons within the electron transport chain (ETC), MB prevents the stagnation that leads to cellular dysfunction and various health problems.

MB acts as an electron carrier, facilitating this process by directly contributing electrons to the ETC, obtaining electrons from surrounding compounds, and thereby sustaining oxygen consumption and energy production. Consequently, it aids in the full reduction of oxygen into water.

Remarkably, methylene blue exhibits dual functionality uncommonly found together. It functions as an antioxidant by neutralising oxygen into water via electron donation to the electron transport chain, while simultaneously generating energy production through increased ATP production.

Contrary to many compounds that enhance energy metabolism but induce oxidative stress, methylene blue diverges from this trend. It enables heightened oxygen consumption rates, elevates ATP production for energy metabolism, and concurrently mitigates oxidative stress, thereby reducing oxidative damage at mitochondrial, cellular, and membranous levels.  Essentially, acting as an electron carrier, methylene blue operates akin to a battery. Unlike other compounds with similar functions, it navigates past points of interference, such as cyanide poisoning, via electron cycling. Thus, it ensures the uninterrupted functionality of mitochondrial respiration, oxygen consumption, and energy production, without inducing damaging oxidation.

These compounds are the building blocks of the hyrogels that are found in the COVID vaccine.  The hydrogels are the blood clots found in individuals from around the world.  These hydrogels can be programmed and encrypted.  Evidence shows that the vaxed are spreading this to the unvaxed (shedding) as reviewed by the RAND Corporation, Brain Computer Interfaces – US Military Applications and Implications discus the convergence of human with machine, for the goal of fusing biology with technology.  This nano technology appears to be distributed via chemtrails, the food and water supply, medications and all of the scheduled vaccines for children, flu shots etc..

Dr Ana Mihalcea says that when you synthetically alter human DNA – which is frequency specific with all of nature, that the harmony is being disturbed and is out of sync.  She states that they are literally creating a Borg, a hive mind that is no longer capable of independent individual thinking – no more free will – just simply following the program.  These filamental self assembling structures are literally replacing the blood in all living creatures. She believes that this movement is really about the final destruction of the divine human being and that we must resist at all costs.

She adds, “Methylene blue has extensive anti-aging benefits and anti-cancer properties, so it might help prevent the exploding turbo cancers via multiple mechanisms.”  MB, “helps reverse brain fog, improves cellular oxygen delivery, bypasses mitochondrial dysfunction.”

Methylene Blue Binds Hydrogel In Lantus Insulin - Lantus Insulin Creates Chip Like Crystals, Methylene Blue Prevents Chip Formation

Allergies/UTI and More

Methylene blue can even prevent a cytokine storm and has antihistamine properties. [28] It has been uniquely shown to inhibit the production of all three of the major classes of pro-oxidants involved in the cytokine storm clinical picture (reactive oxygen species [ROS], reactive nitrogen species [RNS], and cytokines). [28-30]

It has a long history of use for urinary tract infections. MB has been shown to lift depression, and is known to be effective for bipolar disorder and psychosis. [31]

As a side note, methylene blue is the “mother molecule” of hydroxychloroquine.

Hydroxychloroquine provides direct antiviral effects, inhibiting pH-dependent steps of the replication of several “viruses” including members of the flaviviruses, retroviruses, and coronaviruses.

Dr. Francisco Gonzalez-Lima is regarded as the top expert on methylene blue.  He has many videos available on YouTube.  His group was the first to map the effects of MB in the brains of humans and show its effects on improving brain metabolism, blood flow and memory function.

Alzheimer’s Disease

The connection between methylene blue and Alzheimer’s disease has become a target of interest for researchers because it has been proposed that MB might halt the progress in Alzheimer’s. In fact, in addition to its well known inhibitory effects on the cGMP pathway, MB can influence a wide range of cellular and molecular processes associated with the course of Alzheimer’s disease. Currently, MB has been proven to reduce the production of neurofibrillary tangles and plaques, as well as provide restoration of the function of mitochondria and cellular metabolic deficits. Methylene blue is currently under clinical trial for its experimental use in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. [32]

For brain health, cognitive enhancement, and the prevention or treatment of dementia, Dr Gonzalez-Lima recommends a dosage of 0.5 mg to 1 mg per kg per day, or as needed.

It is not clear whether MB will be approved as a drug for Alzheimer’s but why wait?  MB is widely appreciated as a supplement for improving mental health and anti-aging.

Anti-Aging Extraordinaire

Methylene blue combats aging by enhancing mitochondrial function, reducing oxidative stress, and improving cellular repair mechanisms. These actions help maintain youthful energy levels and protect against age-related decline.

This review summarizes the recent studies on the applications of MB in treating age-related conditions, including neurodegeneration, memory loss, skin aging, and a premature aging disease, progeria. Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS) is considered a genetic, premature aging disorder which MB has shown great potential for treatment. [33, 34]

Skin Rejuvenation & Anti-Aging

Oxidative stress is the major cause of skin aging that includes wrinkles, pigmentation, and weakened wound healing ability. The application of antioxidants in skin care is well accepted as an effective approach to delay the skin aging process. Methylene blue is renowned as a mitochondrial targeting antioxidant, showing a potent ROS scavenging ability in cultured human skin fibroblasts derived from healthy donors and from patients with progeria, a genetic premature aging disease.

In comparison with other widely used general and mitochondrial targeting antioxidants, MB was found to be more effective in stimulating skin fibroblast proliferation (essential for wound healing), delaying cellular deterioration and increasing collagen. [35]

The skin irritation test indicated that MB was safe for long-term use and did not cause irritation even at high concentrations. It was further demonstrated that MB improved skin viability, promoted wound healing and increased skin hydration and dermis thickness. Gene expression analysis showed that MB treatment altered the expression of a subset of extracellular matrix proteins in the skin, including upregulation of elastin and collagen, two essential components for healthy skin. Altogether, this study suggests that MB has a great potential for skin care.  [36]

Age Related Decline

Mitochondrial dysfunction has been observed in systematic aging that affects many different tissues, including the brain and skin. Methylene blue can increase cell longevity, protect skin from UV exposure, and accelerate and help with the wound healing process.  [37, 38]

Studies have shown that Methylene Blue may especially benefit neurological function as we age because it increases blood flow and oxygenation of the brain. [39]

In a 2021 study entitled “The Potentials of Methylene Blue as an Anti-Aging Drug,” the authors found that mitochondrial dysfunction is observed in systematic aging that affects many tissues, including the brain and skin, which can lead to increased oxidative stress. [40] The brain has, by far, one of the highest concentrations of mitochondria, considered the “powerhouse” of the cells. Methylene blue normalizes compromised mitochondrial function in the brain, which can improve brain cell energy production. This can result in improved memory retention. [41]

Topical Applications for Methylene Blue

Research published in Scientific Reports found that methylene blue promotes wound healing while hydrating and thickening the skin.  As we age, collagen production decreases contributing to thinner skin and loss of elasticity.  MB increases collagen production and also protects against sun damage which adds to its benefits as an anti aging topical.

Miracle Products is currently experimenting with a new formula for a topically applied methylene blue product.

Topical methylene blue application has also been used to manage psoriasis symptoms.  [42] Additionally, MB’s antimicrobial properties are beneficial for skin.  [43-45]

Acne Vulgaris

Acne is a common skin issue caused by multifactorial reasons; one of which involves hormonal imbalance resulting in excessive sebum secretion and inflammation.  Various conventional therapies are available for the treatment of acne vulgaris; however, topical photodynamic therapy (PDT) has attracted much attention because of its great potential for sebum-reducing, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activities.

In this report a biocompatible formulation consisting of methylene blue and salicylic acid, along with light therapy was applied as a potent acne therapy (see Photodynamic Therapy - Noninvasive Treatment for Tumours.  Photoactivated MB showed antimicrobial activity against acne along with long-term stability. When 24 patients with acne were treated with the MB and salicylic acid formula, along with light therapy 5 times at 1-week intervals, they exhibited a remarkable reduction in acne lesions and sebum production. In addition, the therapeutic procedure was painless and safe, without any adverse events. Therefore, MB and salicylic acid is a promising topical PDT agent for biocompatible, safe, and effective acne treatment.  [46-49]

Cancer

Methylene blue is observed to be effective against various types of cancer, including colorectal tumors, carcinoma, and melanoma. It has demonstrated this remarkable potential as a treatment due to its astounding oxygenation effects and capacity to trigger apoptotic pathways, leading to programmed cell death in diseased cells and producing reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Research has shown that methylene blue has the ability to selectively target and kill cancer cells, while leaving healthy cells intact. This is because MB has a unique ability to accumulate in cancer cells, where it can induce apoptosis.

Apoptosis: from ancient Greek, meaning ‘falling off’ is a form of programmed cell death that serves a role in maintaining cellular integrity and for getting rid of aged and damaged cells.

As cancer cells thrive in low-oxygen environment, increasing oxygen levels make it harder for cancer cells to remain active.  MB generates and increases oxygen levels in tumors where it accumulates and becomes a powerful catalyst while stimulating apoptosis.

The journal Oncology Reports in 2017 found that it inhibits the proliferation of human ovarian cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Further research in 2019 in the journal Cancer Cell International found that it induces apoptosis in human lung cancer cells in vitro. [50]

Melanoma Treatment with Methylene Blue

Researchers found that MB was able to slow down the growth of melanoma tumors in mice, and even caused some of the tumors to shrink.  Melanoma is considered the most deadly form of skin cancer without effective treatment.  This study revealed that methylene blue, along with photodynamic therapy (refer to Photodynamic Therapy, Light Therapy & Red Light Therapy below) decreased cell viability and increased apoptosis (cell death) in melanoma affected tissue. Morphological characteristics of necrosis were observed immediately after treatment, and apoptotic characteristics were observed after 3 h. The apoptosis and necrosis rates varied with the MB and light doses.  These researchers demonstrated that MB-PDT reduced murine melanoma B16-F10 cell viability and induced cell death in a drug- and light-dose dependent manner.  [51, 52]

We have personally found that using MB internally as well as topically directly on the lesion provides a fast and effective solution.  Topical application is recommended every 3 to 5 days and works miraculously with a drop of DMSO on top of the MB for deep penetration. Does Methylene Blue Damage DNA?

Information/misinformation has been circulating that methylene blue can damage DNA.  This conclusion is based on studies performed in vitro as opposed to in vivo, which makes the world of difference to you and me.

In vivo refers to studies conducted on living organisms, while in vitro refers to experiments performed outside of a living organism, typically in a laboratory setting like test tubes or petri dishes wherein the tissue sample is dying or dead. Both methods are used in medical research to understand diseases and test treatments, but they have different applications and limitations.

Despite extensive evidence for mutagenicity and induction of DNA damage by methylene blue in vitro, particularly with white-light activation, no evidence for genotoxicity has been observed in a number of standard tests in vivo, all of which investigated some aspect of chromosomal damage. No significant increase in the frequency of sister-chromatid exchange was seen in bone-marrow cells of adult Chinese hamsters given a single intraperitoneal injection of methylene blue at 12 mg/kg bw (Speit, 1982). [53]

Similarly, no increases in the frequency of micro nucleated erythrocytes were observed in bone marrow cells or peripheral blood erythrocytes of male B6C3F1 mice given a single intraperitoneal dose of methylene blue, or in peripheral blood erythrocytes of male B6C3F1 mice treated by gavage with methylene blue for 5 days per week for 3 months. [54]

Realising that methylene blue attracts to diseased and dying tissues and stimulates apoptosis is hugely important.  Also that all in vitro testing can only be completed on dead or dying cells.  All the data is clear that MB does not harm healthy living tissues (DNA) and in fact restores cellular function.

DNA Signals - The Light Communication Network

DNA sequences emit low-frequency electromagnetic (EM) waves which make up DNA signals that organize the nucleotides, or arrange the pattern of raw material of the DNA.  According to Russian scientists, our DNA is more than responsible for the construction of our body, as it also serves as data storage and plays a role in communication via electromagnetic emissions (light).  The light storage capacity of DNA is possible because it is an aperiodic crystal.

Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues have been carrying out cutting-edge research on the more esoteric nature of DNA. They simply did not accept that 90% of our DNA is ‘junk DNA’.

Only 10% of DNA sequences are used for building proteins.  The remaining 90% is considered “junk DNA”. The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was intelligent, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore the 90% of "junk DNA." Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary!

Russian researcher Dr. Vladimir Poponin put DNA in a tube and beamed a laser through it. When the DNA was removed, the laser light continued spiraling on its own, like it would through a crystal! This effect is called ‘Phantom DNA Effect’.

Since the DNA was found to have a syntax and semantics akin to our human languages, it indicated that our currently restricted understanding of DNA serving only for the coding of the reproduction of proteins for the chemical makeup of an organism, is only scratching the surface.

Russians created devices that can influence the cellular metabolism through suitable modulated radio and light frequencies that repair genetic defects.

"Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation."

Article: DNA BioComputer Reprogramming - Dr. Pjotr Garajajev & Vladimir Poponin

This means that they managed, for example, to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself.

Electromagnetic signals are of key importance in the regulatory functioning of DNA. This is in part due to ultraviolet luminence creating biophotons; this has been experimentally demonstrated to be able to enhance metabolic reactions exponentially.   [55]. Another aspect is an electromagnetically mediated "language" for communication between DNA and the cells. Actually laser light generated in DNA, experimentally demonstrated by P.P. Garajev is a key element in this information transmission system. [56, 57]

When proper frequencies are being used, living DNA (in living tissue) will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves.  Garjajev´s research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome.

Light and Frequency Turns a Salamander into a Frog

For example, they did a remarkable experiment applying a low-power laser through some salamander embryos in one container onto some frog embryos in a separate container.  This caused the frog embryo's DNA to completely re-code itself with the instructions to build a healthy adult salamander, even though the two embryos were in hermetically sealed containers and only the light was allowed to pass through. This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting and splicing single genes from the DNA.

This revolutionary research shows that DNA signals communicate with each other and genetically mutate, by receiving data transmissions that promote change into new patterns of DNA.  An excellent book, Biology of Belief, written by Prof Bruce Lipton, explains how our bodies create genetic changes based on the stimulus from the environment.  Thus proving that we are not bound by genetics and that changing our environment will stimulate new patterns of DNA. [58- 60]

According to Garjajev’s studies, DNA is not only the transmitter and receiver of electromagnetic radiation (in the form of energy), but it also absorbs information contained in the radiation (light) and interprets it further. Thus, DNA is an extremely complex interactive optical biochip.

Human red blood cells contain DNA emitting signals. This is why it’s so important to not inject other DNA substances directly into our blood stream (such as “vaccines”). When another species DNA is injected into the bloodstream, this interferes with the human DNA’s ability to recognize other human DNA signals, and blocks DNA communication with all members of the same species.

Consider the etheric strands of your DNA as the information library of your soul. They contain the complete history of you, lifetime after lifetime; a record of the attitudes, experiences, and emotional predispositions you brought into this lifetime; and a blueprint for your perfection. Your DNA is also a record of your existence from the moment of your creation to your present incarnation.

Methylene blue has a really special effect on mitochondria DNA and adenosine triphosphate (ATP).  There are four basic proteins - complexes one through four that are engaged by MB to move electrons.  Complex VI is called the cytochrome c- cyto meaning cell and chrome meaning light. It’s fascinating that the very name of this protein means “light cell”. This is the fourth and most important step in the mitochondria, where ATP- energy/light is produced.  Photons, just like electrons are units of energy. A photon interacting with the fourth complex can do the same thing that an electron can. This is why light is an activator to methylene blue and they create powerful synergistic effects.

ATP is the energy that animates your body.  It is made via a process called cellular respiration that occurs in the mitochondria of a cell.

Unlike nuclear DNA, which is passed down from both the mother and the father, mitochondrial DNA is inherited exclusively from the mother.

The mitochondria have their own unique DNA which is primary to our genetic architecture, with pivotal roles in energy production, cellular metabolism, and inheritance.

Light Therapy

If you want to unleash the full power of methylene blue you can explore using it concurrently with light therapy. Natural sunlight contains the full spectrum light frequencies.  The infrared and near-infrared spectrum of red light that penetrates deeply into your body has a synergistic effect with MB in optimizing the mitochondrial energy generation process.

Light therapy, is the exposure to direct sunlight or artificial light at controlled wavelengths in order to treat a variety of medical disorders, including seasonal affective disorder (SAD), circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders, cancers, and skin wound infections.

 Red Light Therapy

Typically, Red Light Therapy uses a variety of wavelengths that are effective for different purposes. This includes the visible spectrum of red light (about 620-750nm) and the invisible, near-infrared spectrum (about 780-1400nm).  However, 610nm 630nm 660nm 810nm 830nm & 850nm have been proven to be most effective for a wide array of treatments. Of these, 660nm and 850nm are the most widely used.

Red light therapy is another way to restore mitochondrial respiration within tumor cells rapidly. The combination of light therapy with methylene blue for Cancer, called Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), has become one of the most promising and popular research subjects in recent decades.

How Deep Does Red Light Therapy Penetrate?

The depth of penetration depends on the intensity of the light source and wavelength. Red light can penetrate 8-10mms reaching the skin's dermal layer where it can interact with cells. Near Infrared (NIR) light can penetrate up to 25mms potentially affecting muscle, bone, and deep tissues. Depth also depends on an individual’s skin type and whether any skincare products are applied to the skin.

Using red light therapy and taking methylene blue shows a 30% increase in mitochondria energy production.

Photodynamic Therapy - Noninvasive Treatment for Tumours

Photodynamic therapy is a treatment that uses special drugs or substances, that when combined with light, makes that drug or substance more effective than it was before.

When methylene blue is administered in Photodynamic Therapy by injection or taken orally is yielding impressive results for treating tumours.  Once the MB has disseminated into tissues, a red light laser is then shined onto the person.  This is because they want to make the red light more targeted and location specific.

When the red light and the methylene blue react, they release a high amount of ROS in that specific area.  This changes the tumour environment to be very heavily oxygenated.  Tumors thrive in an anaerobic, low oxygen environment. This flood of reactive oxygen species is what kills the tumor cell. [61- 63]

During experiments blood is drawn from subjects sitting under red light after receiving methylene blue to observe the immediate effects of the therapy.  Real time tests show that carbon dioxide increases, nitric oxide decreases, lactic acid decreases, etc.  These are all potent signals of an internal environment which is anti-cancer and pro-health.

While red light from the sun or from red light lamps will work just as well for overall enhancement, it can’t be concentrated at a specific area such as can be directed from lasers.  When MB is used in combination with red light therapy, it improves effectiveness in addressing diverse types of cancer, including colorectal tumors, breast cancers, carcinoma, and melanoma. [64, 65]

The majority of the studies (as in the link below) reported on the effectiveness of red light therapy with MB against different types of cancer. It was confirmed by decreases in tumor sizes reported in seven articles from 12.0% to 100.0%.

Frontiers in Pharmacology, methylene blue in anticancer photodynamic therapy: systematic review of preclinical studies; volume 14, 2023 https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/pharmacology/articles/10.3389/fphar.2023.1264961

Light Therapy & Methylene Blue – A Dynamic Duo

Combining Light Therapy with methylene blue is a fascinating topic.  Sunbathing following a dose of Bluzone can increase red light absorption and significantly enhance mitochondrial and antimicrobial benefits.

Studies show that the combination of methylene blue and specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light poses an even more significant effect on the elimination of all types of pathogens and harmful microorganisms. This combination is highlighted for their unique ability to dissociate nitric oxide, allowing for improved oxygen delivery to mitochondria and thus enhancing energy production and overall mitochondrial function.

MB is so brilliantly blue it reflects blue, and it absorbs red and specifically red in the 660–670 nm. This absorption is due to the specific electronic transitions in the methylene blue molecule, where it absorbs light in the red to near-infrared range of the spectrum. This is why MB appears blue, as the red wavelengths are absorbed, and the shorter wavelengths (blue) are reflected or transmitted, giving it its characteristic color.  When methylene blue gets into the mitochondria, it can start to absorb these photons.  Methylene blue has a biochemical effect, while light has a biophysical effect.

How does Methylene Blue work in the body?

Methylene blue is metabolized by the liver and processed by the kidneys and excreted through urine. It crosses the blood brain barrier, enabling access to the central nervous system. This explains why it has applications for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

MB repairs the metabolic function of the cell and can penetrate dysfunctional mitochondrial complexes and work to reverse or balance the damage.  After absorption MB concentrates in tissues with the most mitochondria; it readily penetrates the brain, heart, muscles, the liver, and kidneys.  The cells that contain the most mitochondria are the fat and muscle cells. These types of cells perform a variety of functions and require an abundant supply of energy, which is provided by the breakdown of ATP, created in the mitochondria.

Powerful Mitochondria Optimiser

Mitochondrial dysfunction can negatively impact your entire body and is especially detrimental to your brain because the neurons in your brain rely almost entirely on the energy produced by the mitochondria.  There's an affinity of methylene blue to go to the mitochondria, and particularly nerves.

Redox Activity

MB is a master redox-active compound. It can switch between oxidized and reduced forms, allowing it to function as either an electron donor or receiver. This action is essential for detoxification of the body.  In the oxidized state (blue), it can accept electrons, while in the reduced state (colorless), it donates electrons.

When MB is reduced it loses it color and is called Leucomethylene blue.

Methylene blue can help reduce cellular oxidative stress. It scavenges reactive oxygen species and free radicals, protecting cells from damage caused by oxidative stress, which is a common factor in many diseases and aging processes. This antioxidant role is particularly important in protecting mitochondrial function.

Antioxidant Extraordinaire

An ideal antioxidant is one that is chemically stable equally; in both its reduced or oxidized state.  Methylene blue has this extraordinary ability and as it moves through the body it changes from its oxidized and reduced state repeatedly.  The powerful clinical impact of MB appears equal whether administered in its oxidized (methylene blue) or reduced (leucomethylene blue) forms.

When biomolecules becomes oxidised (lose electrons) they can no longer perform their normal chemical or metabolic functions. MB displays the most potent antioxidant capacity because it is chemically stable equally; in both its reduced or oxidized state and can penetrate all the oxidized bio-molecules in every cell of the body.

In the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service, Feb 4, 2023, Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD provides an in depth editorial, Resolving Colds to Advanced COVID with Methylene Blue

He explains, this extraordinary quality of MB allows the continued giving and taking of electrons throughout the cellular and extracellular spaces, as that molecule does not resist being either reduced or oxidized. This redox (reduction-oxidation) property helps to conduct electron flow inside the cells. This helps to generate and sustain the microcurrents (a current is literally an electron flow) that have been identified inside cells, which work to maintain healthy transmembrane voltages. A sick cell always has a low voltage – low energy.

Mitochondrial Function

One of the most significant cellular actions of methylene blue is its impact on the mitochondrial electron transport chain (ETC). MB can act as an alternative electron carrier. It bypasses complex I (NADH dehydrogenase) in the ETC, directly donating electrons to complex IV (cytochrome c oxidase).

This activity enhances ATP production, especially in cases of mitochondrial dysfunction (such as in certain neurodegenerative diseases). This effect has been explored in conditions like Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, where mitochondrial dysfunction plays a central role.

At low doses (<3mg/kg), methylene blue is called an electron cycler. It acts as an electron donor to the electron transport chain in the mitochondria, increasing ATP production.  At the same time, it also works as an acceptor of free electrons from reactive oxygen and nitrogen species, performing as an antioxidant to neutralise free radicals and toxins.  In this regard, the antioxidant capacity of MB is even more impressive than vitamin C or glutathione because it never exhausts.  The paradox with most antioxidants is that they become spent after donating an electron; MB however, can repeatedly donate and receive electrons infinitely without becoming or producing a toxic byproduct.

Just like vitamin C, the true benefits of MB in so many different diseases remain unappreciated and unused by most clinicians, even though it has been safely utilized in many patients for a much longer time than vitamin C.

Vitamin C & Methylene Blue

Dr Ron Hunninghake, chief medical officer at Riordan Clinic compares methylene blue to vitamin C.  In many ways MB parallels the activities of vitamin C in the body, but according to this expert MB supersedes the benefits of vitamin C.  He explains that MB has both fat-soluble and water-soluble characteristics and it very rapidly gets taken up not only inside the cells, but specifically inside the mitochondria. And some of the literature says that it gets up to 100-fold more concentrated inside the central nervous system than the rest of the body, only an hour after administration. It is really attracted to the brain and nervous system.

If you rejuvenate mitochondria in the brain, magic starts to happen.

Both vitamin C and MB are small molecules, and they effectively reach every cell in the body. However, MB requires no active or passive cell membrane transporters as compared to vitamin C, and it has both lipid-soluble and water-soluble characteristics. Because of this, MB passes easily through lipid-rich cell membranes, after which it disseminates throughout the water-based cell. [66,67] Also, while both MB and vitamin C access the brain, MB has been found to have a brain concentration up to tenfold higher than in the serum as quickly as one hour after intravenous administration. [68] Uptake is very rapid in the other organs as well. [69]

Important note: both oral and intravenous use provide 100% uptake.

MB also has well-documented antitoxin properties like vitamin C, but the studies documenting them are much less prolific than those showing the similar effects of vitamin C on pro-oxidants and other poisons. MB helps protect the kidneys against the toxicity of the chemotherapeutic agent, cisplatin. [70] MB has also been shown to protect the brain against the toxicity of another chemotherapeutic agent, ifosfamide. [71 - 79] It also was shown to effectively treat the brain dysfunction induced by ifosfamide after it had developed.

Effects on Neurotransmission and Depression

Methylene blue has been shown to influence neurotransmitter systems, particularly in the brain. It enhances the function of the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase, which plays a key role in cellular respiration. By improving mitochondrial function, MB helps neurons maintain energy production, which is essential for their activity and survival.

Methylene blue inhibits the activity of monoamine oxidase, an enzyme that breaks down neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. By inhibiting MAO, MB can increase the levels of these neurotransmitters, which may contribute to its effects as an antidepressant and cognitive-enhancing benefits.

Antimicrobial Activity

Methylene blue is well known for its antimicrobial properties. It can penetrate bacterial, parasite and fungal cells, where it interferes with their cellular processes. MB, when exposed to light (photodynamic therapy), generates ROS, which can eradicate microbial cells.  This property has been exploited in various therapeutic and disinfectant applications.

Cellular Signaling and Gene Expression

Methylene Blue has been shown to affect certain gene expression pathways, though the mechanisms are not fully understood. It may influence transcription factors and signaling pathways related to cell survival, inflammation, and stress responses.

Membrane Interactions

Methylene blue can interact with the lipid bilayer of cell membranes. By integrating into the membrane, it may help stabilize membrane integrity, which is critical for maintaining normal cellular functions such as ion transport and cell communication.

Improved Blood Flow

MB is a vasodilator, which means it helps to widen blood vessels and improve blood flow. This can help to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. [80]

Another way that MB benefits the body is its role as a nitric oxide inhibitor and an estrogen antagonist. By reducing nitric oxide and estrogen, thyroid function is increased, and the body benefits from increased metabolic rate and overall energy production.

Lyme Disease

In recent years, this revolutionary substance has gained a positive reputation in the world of tick-borne diseases.  Researchers have begun to look at methylene blue as an antimicrobial agent against Lyme disease and as a treatment for persistent Bartonella. Because MB isn’t an antibiotic, it does not destroy the gut flora like antibiotics do. [81]

An exciting aspect of MB is its clinical applications for tick-borne diseases. MB’s antimicrobial properties help your body fight against Bartonella, in a similar way to an antibiotic. It inhibits important metabolic processes, including biofilm formation, to prevent the bacteria from multiplying and spreading. Current published in vitro studies (Zhang et al, 2020) have only explored MB’s antimicrobial properties in Bartonella, alone and in combination with other antibiotics. Other antimicrobial properties are yet to be elucidated.

Dr. Erica Lehman, an integrative physician, tick-borne disease specialist states, “I have found clinical success in using MB for many symptoms of Lyme disease, including fatigue, depression, brain fog, anxiety and much more. With its antimicrobial properties, using MB has enabled me to minimize the use of antibiotics and therefore avoid their potential side effects.”

Malaria

Professor Dr. Olaf Müller at the University of Heidelberg upon looking into effects of methylene blue found that MB is superior to all known antimalarial agents in important properties. In fact, it is probably the most effective drug to inhibit the transmission of infection

Ideal Shock Therapy

Methylene blue is exceptionally beneficial for both infections in general and for hypotensive shock. This makes it a particularly optimal therapy for the very common cause of intensive care unit death around the planet: septic shock.

Refractory septic shock, a state of disseminated infection with vascular collapse and hypotension often unresponsive to all traditional measures, consistently responds positively to MB therapy, sometimes saving the patient from otherwise certain death.

A clear example of such a case report was reported on a 38-year-old male patient who presented with bilateral pneumonia that subsequently worsened and resulted in bacteria (Klebsiella pneumonia) being released into the bloodstream (septicemia). Lethargic with low blood oxygen when admitted to the hospital, he was given IV fluids with insulin and antibiotics. The oxygen levels continue to decline with increased difficulty breathing, and he was then intubated and supported on a ventilator. Hypotension requiring vasopressor infusion ensued. Broader antibiotic coverage was added. Metabolic acidosis with declining renal function followed, and a few hours later he had a cardiac arrest. Four hours after regaining a heart rhythm and only 25 hours after initial presentation, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support was started. Nevertheless, critically low blood pressure unresponsive to multiple vasopressors continued.

At this point in time, a 172 mg IV bolus of MB was administered, and an infusion of MB at 0.51 mg/kg/hour was maintained for the next 10 hours. Blood pressure quickly improved and vasopressor support could be decreased. At the conclusion of the infusion, the clinical status stabilized for another 22 hours, but fever with a dropping blood pressure unresponsive to combinations of vasopressors at the highest doses returned. The MB infusion was restarted and blood pressure again responded promptly. This time the infusion was continued for 54 hours, and about seven days after this longer infusion was completed the patient was fully recovered and discharged from the hospital. [82]

Another impressive case report on a clinically similar patient showed that MB had to be continually infused for a full 120 hours to prevent repeated clinical relapses, after which the patient stabilized and was eventually discharged. [83]

These case studies, in which the patients effectively serve as their own controls, showed clear improvement on MB when severely ill, clear deterioration back to a life-threatening point after MB discontinuation, and prompt improvement with complete clinical resolution when the MB was restarted and continued for a long enough period.

Multiple studies have demonstrated the benefits of MB in stabilizing and even resolving septic shock, which is the worst stage that any infection can reach before the inevitable progression to death. No reports of MB worsening the overall clinical status of septic patients could be found. The studies consistently show that MB always improves hypotension when appropriately administered. Furthermore, it has been shown that MB improves survival in shock of all causes (vasodilatory shock), including the shock of advanced sepsis. [84]

When MB is dosed appropriately, it has an impeccable safety profile, just like vitamin C. Also, like vitamin C, MB also enhances antibody production in the body. [85]

Methylene Blue for Heart Attack & Stroke

Administering methylene blue within minutes of a cardiac event (to meet the critical time threshold) can be life-saving.  MB significantly mitigates tissue damage.  In cases of stroke or heart attack, even a single dose below 50 mg can save lives.  This rapid benefit makes methylene blue an essential tool in emergency medicine, offering a quick and efficient means to counteract metabolic crises.

Consider the inclusion of methylene blue in emergency kits, as its ability to stabilize metabolic function swiftly provides an additional layer of protection against sudden, life-threatening metabolic disturbances. The potential of MB to act as a universal antidote in various poisoning scenarios underscores its significance in both medical and emergency settings.

Low Blood Pressure Associated with Kidney & Liver Failure

Liver failure is often complicated by hypotension (low blood pressure).  MB improves blood flow and stabilizes blood pressure even in situations of kidney and liver failure without apparent side effects. [86, 87]

Does Methylene Blue Harm Kidneys?

Methylene blue does not “harm” kidneys. In healthy individuals with normal kidney function and at standard therapeutic doses, MB shows protective effects. Even long-term use of MB suggests that when used appropriately, long-term kidney damage is unlikely.  While MB at high doses or in specific circumstances can pose risks, current research suggests it can actually be protective against certain types of kidney damage.

Renal Failure

Methylene Blue has been used to treat various forms of renal failure, including acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. It has been shown to be effective in treating renal failure by improving the function of the kidneys. It does this by increasing the amount of oxygen that is delivered to the kidneys, which helps to reduce the amount of waste products that build up in the blood. This can help to reduce the severity of symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, and swelling.

Methylene Blue Protects Kidney’s From Chemo

Cisplatin, a powerful chemotherapy drug, is notorious for its damaging effects on kidneys. MB appears to combat this toxicity by inhibiting apoptotic protein caspase-3 expression in cisplatin-exposed kidneys. Furthermore, it improves crucial renal functional markers like creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN), indicating enhanced kidney function. In other words, methylene blue may act as a renal protectant when kidneys are under assault from certain chemotherapeutic agents.

This protection has been shown to be most effective when MB is begun prior chemo. MB activates the Nrf2/ARE pathway which is a key defender against cell damage.  [88]

Methylene Blue For Liver Protection

MB is emerging as a promising aid in treating fatty liver conditions, offering new hope for those dealing with steatosis (fatty liver disease) and the more advanced steatohepatitis.  Methylene blue’s liver-protective properties lies in its ability to activate SIRT1, a protein often dubbed the “longevity gene.” SIRT1 plays a vital role in maintaining energy balance across the body, much like the benefits achieved through fasting to boost SIRT1 activity.

By boosting SIRT1 activity, MB triggers a cascade of beneficial effects, enhancing mitochondrial function and improving cellular energy production and utilisation. This activation mimics the advantages of fasting, offering a straightforward way to support liver health and overall wellness.

One of methylene blue’s most encouraging effects is its capacity to combat excess fat build-up in the liver. Research indicates that MB activates AMPK, an enzyme known as a “metabolic master switch,” which leads to increased fat-burning and reduced fat production within the liver.  Additionally, MB enhances the activity of CPT-1 and PPARα, two crucial components in fat metabolism. Together, these effects help reduce harmful fat accumulation in liver cells, which can help reverse or even prevent fatty liver disease. [89]

Methylene Blue and Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is a common condition that affects many men worldwide. A study found that methylene blue can improve erectile function by increasing blood flow to the penis. (90)

Viagra promotes the production of nitric oxide to dilate blood vessels, but it does so everywhere, not just in the intended area.

Drugs like this affect the brain, the heart and other organs not originally intended.  They increase the chances of heart attacks, strokes, melanoma, pancreatic cancer and even neurological diseases.  MB is by far the better choice.

The Science Behind BluZone

There is a major difference between the quality of methylene blue used in fish tank treatments and pharmaceutical grade MB. Fish tank MB is diluted with tap water and it contains a lot of impurities and heavy metals such as aluminum, cadmium, arsenic, fluoride and lead. Industrial and chemical grade MB can also consist of up to 11% impurities as well.

The safest methylene blue for human consumption is USP (pharmaceutical grade).  However, even some USP grade MB can contain the aforementioned impurities. This is why it’s important that the MB you are consuming comes with documentation of purity - COA (Certificate of Analysis), along with a USP designation.

The USP grade MB powder used in the creation of BluZone meets the Global Pharmacopoeia quality requirements established by compendiums such as United States Pharmacopoeia and European Pharmacopoeia.  The process in making this MB powder utilises water based chemistry that excludes the use of harmful chemical solvents, thus further eradicating any probability of impurities.

BluZone is created using USP pharmaceutical grade methylene blue powder, prepared in Ellis distilled, structured water and packaged in Miron biophotonic glass.

Most methylene blue liquid formulas are prepared in tap water.  Miracle Products uses the purest Ellis distilled and structured water in all its formulations, including BluZone.

Ellis Distilled & Structured Water

John Ellis is referred by many as a genius. His machine holds 13 patents and 332 approved FDA studies on remarkable healing effects of consuming Ellis water. This extraordinary machine produces perfect structured water with a hydrogen bond angle of 114°.  Ellis water is often referred to as Garden of Eden water.

The hydrogen bond angle of water is of major significance if you are interested in health and longevity.  It is recommended to always drink water with a hydrogen bond angle above 108° because water with a bond angle above 108° makes the oxygen bioavailable to eliminate the effects of pathogens and neutralises toxins; while making the hydrogen available as fuel for the body.

Tap water generally has a bond angle of 104°, bottled water is between 101° & 104° and regular single pass distillers produce a 101° bond angel.  These low bond angels lock the hydrogen and oxygen in the water producing “zero energy” water.  Called thus because these waters require 30 times more energy before it splits into hydrogen and oxygen.  Nobel Prize winner Albert Szentgyorgy, makes a statement about the type of water we should consume, “The one that produces the most hydrogen energy is the fuel of life.”

Evidenced by the US Patent Office and the 13 patents which John Ellis owns on his steel distiller’s worldwide, the bond angle will expand to 113° to 114°.  What is extraordinary about this system is that when the water cools, the bond angle will remain at 113.8° to 114°. In other words, the expansion of the bond angle is permanent. Even microwaving Ellis water will not alter the bond angle.

Miron Biophotonic Violet Glass

BluZone is packaged in Miron biophotonic glass.  Biophotonics is the scientific study of the relationship between light, energy and the human body. Placing emphasis on the importance of light and energy in sustaining life, the word itself comes from the Greek 'bios', meaning 'life', and 'phos', meaning 'light'.

Biophotonic glass, also known as Miron or Violet glass, is a type of deeply purple coloured, almost opaque glass which is shown to be energised by light. Used since Ancient Egyptian times, Miron glass naturally filters the spectrum of visible sunlight, only allowing through Infra Red and UVA light, or violet light. Due to its natural ability to block light, Miron glass is exceptional for protecting precious contents from perishing in sunlight, increasing shelf life and the effectiveness of contents.

Benefits to Products Packaged in Miron Glass

Miron glass is used to naturally preserve and energise contents as only the violet light spectrum can penetrate the glass.  Violet light has a higher frequency than any other form of light; interestingly this is also the same frequency as the human nervous system. Miron glass provides the best vessel for storing products adding specific light information that is perfect for supporting our general wellbeing by maintaining the natural energy that our system needs.

Dynamically Enhanced

BluZone is Dynamically Enhanced™ using advanced proprietary Tesla Scalar Vortex Quantum Sound, Infrared & Inert Noble Gas technology. The Dynamic Enhancement process amplifies quality by directly infusing specific frequencies, Noble gases and near-infrared into the product. The Miron glass provides the perfect vessel of containment.

Infrared

While methylene blue and near-infrared light may produce different pleiotropic cellular effects, both interventions cause a similar up-regulation of mitochondrial respiration with similar benefits to protect nerve cells against degeneration.

BluZone is currently the only formula that is Dynamically Enhanced™ with near-infrared for this enhanced benefit!

What Does All Disease Have in Common?

Current scientific research shows that all known diseases are characterized by widespread metabolic dysfunction.  A lack of health will be accompanied by an array of symptoms.  Regardless of the symptoms, I invite you to consider that there really is only one disease and the path to recovery is to focus on repairing metabolic function within cells. It is truly astounding how effectively MB targets and begins repair of cellular respiration, the metabolic function of the cell.

“The world is catching on to the fact that all diseases are metabolic in nature, and that methylene blue selectively targets cells and tissues that have dysfunctional metabolism.”  The Ultimate Guide To Methylene Blue - Mark Sloan

The antimicrobial, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties of MB make it so special. It is rare to find one single compound that has all these properties. If you are interested in taking your wellness to the highest level – BluZone may be the product you have been looking for.

It seems that now, more than at any other time in our history, the brain and nervous system are experiencing extreme duress. Exposure to chemicals, graphene oxide & hydroxide, bioweapons, electromagnetic radiation, 5g, Wi Fi, RF and other disruptive frequency signals increases stress levels and can disrupt DNA, brain & neurotransmitter signalling, sleep and mood.

Protecting the human brain and nervous system in these times of excessive chemical and manmade frequency generation is extremely important for general health, well being and correspondingly our mental/emotional health.

Methylene Blue Unusual Benefits (Yet to Be Studied)

Snake Venom

The effectiveness of BluZone on the Eastern Brown Snake venom, which is considered one of the most venomous snakes in the world, has proven miraculous.

The Eastern Brown Snake’s venom is highly hemotoxic. Their venom quickly attacks the blood and prevents clotting. Bites can result in internal bleeding, kidney damage, and sometimes neurotoxic paralysis.

Many snake venoms contain enzymes and toxins that cause oxidative damage and cell destruction, leading to tissue necrosis, hemolysis, and clotting disorders. Methylene blue has antioxidant properties and can help neutralize some of these toxic effects, particularly by scavenging free radicals.

Story's From Our BluZone Customers:

Two Dogs Fully Recover

This brown snake story was shared by a customer from Yeppon Qld.  Both of his dogs got into a tango with an Eastern Brown and both bitten.  He immediately put his dogs into the truck and drove to the vet.  The vet was going to charge him hefty fees per dog to IV them with methylene blue.  He did not have the money so he put the dogs back in the truck and took them home.  He began searching the internet for suppliers and found my number. By the time he received BluZone, more than 5 hours had transpired and the venom had gone systemic. Both dogs were flat out on the kitchen floor non responsive and their eyes completely glazed over.

He syringed the BluZone into the back of their throats, using the Loading Protocol.  The next morning he called to report that there was no improvement and he did not think they were going to make it.  I assured him, that the fact that the dogs lived through the night was a very good sign and encouraged him to continue administering the BluZone.  The next call I received was on day 4 from a very happy fellow who reported that both dogs had fully recovered and back to their usual selves.

Another Brown Snake - Dog Recovers

My dog was bitten by an eastern brown and thankfully I had some of this BluZone. I treated him with antivenom at the vet and the vet thought he wouldn’t make it; he was in such a bad way. I took him straight home and my friend reminded me about BluZone, if only I had used it straight away! Still, I saw his recovery each day he became healthier as I continued to give him the BluZone. BTW I also gave him a high dose of Vitamin C when he first started to react. - Karen Hvidding,

Toad Venom

A few months following the snake venom story that was posted in our newsletter, we received this report from Fred Murray.

“We had a very good experience with BluZone last week. I had read where someone up North used it when their dog was bitten by a snake so when our dog got poisoned by a toad we used it on her. When we found her she was almost completely paralysed - we couldn’t even open her mouth but managed to use an eye dropper to get some bluzone in to her. We kept doing that for about an hour and by then her joints were starting to loosen up and she was trying to stand up. After around 2 hours you would not have known that she had been poisoned! Thanks to BluZone we saved over $500 in vets fees - that’s what it cost us last time this happened.”

Goats Mysteriously Dying

Another wonderful story was shared by a woman up north who was losing her goats to an unknown condition.  She had been using a veterinary product added to the water supply but her goats were still dying. She put a bucket of water with BluZone into the pen and all the goats immediately gathered and began drinking. She is thrilled to report that she has not lost a goat since.

Slowly getting better

Brain fog pretty well gone. Headaches lessening. Bladder/UTI on first week - went from 4 pees a night to none but back to 1 or 2. Sleep 8 hours - hit the pillow and don’t need to make bed anymore - just straighten where my body has not moved. Gone from 50% crap health to 75%better health. Am also contending with compressed vertebrae in neck. Will continue with this treatment and the deep tissue treatment and exercises for the neck. So want to return to my pre covid energy, joy and life. Thank you miracle shop. - Kristine Curnow

Bee Sting Instant Relief

Cathy Crombie shares, “I was riding my bike and inadvertently stepped on a bee.  I had my BluZone in my bag so applied a drop onto the sting.” “I couldn’t believe it! - immediate relief, I could ride my bike home even using the pedal did not cause grief – it was like it never happened!”

Warts

After 3 years of unsuccessfully treating a painful wart on my heal I decide to try BluZone.  One drop and covered with an airtight bandage.  Repeated on day 3.  Day 6 - removed the bandage to find it completely gone!

Bluzoned

I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks but I’ve found my skin and sleep has improved and I feel more alive not down in the dumps so I'm keeping on using it. - Gayle Burrows

Wonderful Product

I sought relief from 6 months hip pain from suspected tick micro-organism. Had tried physical musculo-skeletal and joint treatments thinking it was a joint/stress issue. The first day I took this MB, the hip pain was gone, and has not returned 2 months in. Very impressed and relieved. - Kylie Gillespie

Magic Bullet

I decided to try the Magic Bullet after my partner got considerable relief from the pain in her knee, and after the neighbour had relief in her back. After three days the pain in the base joints of my thumbs almost completely disappeared, and the pain in my shoulder and knee has reduced a little. If you suffer from joint pain, it's certainly worth a try. - Nick Maylor

Really is magic bullet

Within 4 days I realised that I wasn’t limping and knee pain less painful. Have recommended to friends. Very happy with results.  - Shirley Baker

BluZone

Absolutely love it! Can’t wait to take it every morning… Definitely have more energy & a clearer mind! - Wendy Skene

Using BluZone: Guidelines and Tips

There is some research showing that even small amounts of MB can be of benefit for mitochondrial function and provide a nootropic effect. However, clinical experience has demonstrated that dosage can be unique for each individual. Especially when you get up around four milligrams per kilogram of body weight, you are well within a safety zone and it’s likely that some individuals can even go higher.

The general rule on dosing is from .5mg up to 4mg per kilogram body weight.

Dr John Lieurance is a Chiropractic Neurologist and Naturopathic Physician.  In this interview he shares some remarkable information: Secrets of Melatonin and Methylene Blue with Dr. John Lieurance - The Energy Blueprint

He explains, ‘One of the things that a lot of people will find when they take methylene blue is that their mood will be elevated because it has some benefits, somewhat like an SSRI would have on mood. They did studies where they started out with smaller doses of methylene blue, and they increased it. They went up to as high as 500 milligrams per day for a full year with very little side effects, and they found that the more they increased it the better the results were on the depression.

Urine Colour – Blue Pee

Typically, your urine will turn blue.  Dark blue to light green and any variation thereof can be related to diet and level of acidity for that day.  This is a good indicator that enough is in the system to achieve results. If your urine has not turned blue, consider that MB attracts to diseased tissue and/or poisons, it will remain in that area of the body longer before being released through the urine. Also, think about following the Loading Protocol to ensure that enough is in the system to accomplish the desired effects.

The half-life of MB is about 12-16 hours, so dosing once daily is all that is required.  Long-term use is not an issue, as MB will clear from the body in approximately 24 hours.

Tip -

Often when taking a new supplement there can be expectations for a specific result.  Appreciate that we do not get to choose, your body will prioritize what is most important for survival and it may simply take time to get to the specific result that is desired. Rest assure that MB is oxygenating and providing repair for every cell – it may just take time and patience to address the desired effect.

Suggested Dosing with BluZone

It has been shown that methylene blue will enhance sleep quality once the body has acclimated to its use.  However, for those who are new to MB and its super oxygenation of the brain, may find it stimulating and difficult to sleep if taken after 4pm.  For this reason we suggest to take it in the morning.

Miracle Products bases its suggested Daily Maintenance usage for BluZone on .5mg per kg body weight and the Loading Protocol on 1mg per kg body weight.

The Loading Protocol is still considered a low dose by medical standards and safety measures.

This clearly shows that MB is a remarkably safe substance – even at 500mg per day!  (This is equivalent to taking 100 drops of BluZone daily, which in our view is very excessive and not necessary to achieve the desired results.

Start with the Daily Maintenance dose to see how your body responds; perhaps 3-7 days.  If your body responds well and you deem necessary, consider increasing to the Loading Protocol.  This level, albeit still considered a low dose, has been extremely effective for all types of poisoning.

Each drop of BluZone contains .5mg methylene blue

🌀 Daily Maintenance Protocol: body weight in kg divided by 4 equals the number of drops of BluZone to add to water or juice.

🌀 Loading Protocol: body weight in kg divided by 2 equals the number of drops of BluZone to add to water or juice.

Acute Poisoning or Infection

In any case of acute poisoning the Loading Protocol is recommended.  The more immediate the remedy is provided the quicker the recovery.

If dealing with infection, dosing can be done twice daily if deemed necessary.

How to determine BluZone Dose when converting lbs to kg

First convert lbs into kg.  One kg equals 2.2 pounds (lbs divided by 2.2 = kg).  Then divide your weight in kg by 4, this equals the number of drops to take as a Daily Maintenance.

Herxheimer Reaction

Uncomfortable detox symptoms (herxheimer reaction) are not uncommon for those people that are highly toxic.  The Herxheimer Reaction is a short-term (from days to a few weeks) detoxification reaction in the body. As the body detoxifies, you may experience any number of symptoms including flu-like, headache, joint and muscle pain, body aches & aggravated pain, swelling or stiffness, sore throat, general malaise, sweating, chills, nausea, diarrhea or other symptoms. This is normal and although unpleasant this should be viewed as an excellent indication that your body is on the mend.

If detox symptoms are causing too much discomfort, reduce or temporarily stop until the discomfort subsides. Then gradually resume.

Supporting the daily detoxification of the body is the best way to ensure a long and healthy life.  Detoxification comes in many forms and refers to many different methods to cleanse the body of toxins. Today, our environment is toxic, the foods we eat, even the air we breathe and the water we drink is laden with chemicals foreign to our system. Therefore, everyone is undergoing some type of detoxification to maintain life and health.

It is important to realize that unless your body can relieve its poisonous burden, healing is not possible. Disease does not occur “all of a sudden”, it is the eventual outcome of a body burdened by toxins that it can no longer cope with.

Methylene Blue Safety, Side Effects & Risks

Methylene blue provides countless therapeutic benefits and has an incredibly low risk profile, with the data showing both short-term and long-term safety.  However, it can have potential dangerous effects when used improperly or in extremely high doses.

Over 120 years of MB use has clearly established the lack of significant toxicity. Toxic levels exist, as with nearly every other agent (including water), but the amounts needed are far beyond the recommended dosing in established treatment protocols. [91-93]

Safety Considerations

Low Doses: MB oral supplements typically use low doses ranging from 0.5 mg to 4 mg per day for cognitive enhancement, neuroprotection and metabolic repair.

Higher Doses: Higher doses may be used in medical settings for conditions like methemoglobinemia, but these levels of use are significantly higher than those used in oral supplementation.

Common Side Effects: At low doses, MB is generally well-tolerated. Common side effects may include mild headaches, dizziness, gastrointestinal upset, and urine discoloration (blue or greenish).  Oral discoloration generally dissipates as soon as something is eaten or teeth brushed (our Pearly’s Tooth Polish works wonders).

These side effects are not harmful and are temporary.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: The safety of methylene blue during pregnancy has not been well-established, and it should be used with caution.  MB has been shown to pass into breast milk.  MB is classified as a Category C drug by the FDA for pregnancy, meaning its use should be avoided unless clearly needed, as it may pose risks to the fetus.  Consult your healthcare provider before using MB during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Interactions/Contraindications

G6PD Deficiency

G6PD deficiency is a specific enzyme deficiency that affects about 5% of the population.  Those with this condition are advised to avoid MB.  MB stimulates apoptosis (basically dead-cell housekeeping) and decreases neuroinflammation.  It requires the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) to induce apoptosis.

SSRI

Searching online you may find the idea that taking methylene blue along with anything that increases serotonin, such as SSRIs, psilocybin, MDMA or St. John’s Wort even, is contraindicated. There’s a concern that someone would get a serotonin storm, which can be lethal.

Gonzalez-Lima explains: “With respect to the warning about the SSRIs, the problem is not methylene blue but the amount of SSRI. The problem was in a specific application of methylene blue where they use it for parathyroid surgery as a stain...

To my knowledge, there’s never been more than five cases, where the patients were anesthetized, and they still had SSRIs [in their system], and they did repeated flushing in the open neck with methylene blue, which exceeded these doses that we have been talking about.

The U.S. FDA reacted with this warning. But this has been reviewed by both surgeons and pharmacologists at the Mayo Clinic, and they wrote a rebuttal paper where they indicate that there is no evidence to suggest methylene blue has any interaction with the therapeutic dosing of serotonergic compounds, especially SSRIs, and that this was something that happened under these specific [surgical] conditions.

Canada limits the warning to that particular application, but the FDA went beyond that to any kind of serotonergic drug. I think there is absolutely no evidence for oral methylene blue having interactions in this low-dose range with any SSRIs.

And when they talk about the MAO inhibitor function, it really only works as an MAO inhibitor in the higher concentration of the higher dose range, not the low-dose range. So, the effects of methylene blue as an antidepressant — only to a very limited extent, if you repeat it cumulative treatments — can be due to any kind of a MAO inhibitor role.

In addition, it is due to its metabolic enhancing function, so it antagonizes some of the depression symptoms like the low energy that is experienced with depression. So yes, it is effective to reduce symptoms of depression. Unfortunately, this warning is going to make some physicians scared of using it in combination with SSRIs.”

In support of Dr Gonzalez-Lima’s expressed view, Dr. Lieurance further explains that these warnings were based on five cases and those cases were receiving a thymectomy, meaning that they were having their thymus gland surgically resected.  “The IV protocol of MB for these surgeries is very high, around 1000 to 2000 milligrams plus.

These patients did not do well that were on SSRI’s and the FDA made a blanket warning that MB is contraindicated when using any SSRI’s.  Following this, the Mayo Clinic came out and rescinded this warning saying that they only warn against SSRIs if you’re getting this particular surgery using these very high doses of methylene blue.

Even the expert, Francisco Gonzalez Lima, made a statement that he is very disappointed with the way this was all handled. He feels like hundreds of thousands of people could have benefited from MB. The research is so amazing on depression that all of the psychiatrists and psychologists could have been using this as a tool that could work potentially much better than any other therapy available.

Yet, these doctors are all afraid of prescribing MB because of these warnings. The FDA still has not rescinded the warning, even though Mayo Clinic has.

Nitric Oxide Inhibitor

Some may argue that nitric oxide has the same pathogen killing properties as methylene blue, but when analyzed further, you begin to see why nitric oxide falls short.  Yes, it can kill pathogens directly, but it is heavily immunosuppressant.  This is the reason taking nitric oxide promoting drugs seem to be linked to infectious diseases, cancer, cardiovascular disease, etc.

In the body, nitric oxide really has two main functions:

1. It is the emergency vasodilator when carbon dioxide is not available.

2. Levels of nitric oxide rise when you have some kind of an infection. It is the cardinal tool the body uses to kill invading pathogens and is very toxic to living organisms.

This is why drugs like Viagra are actually quite unhealthy and in my view, very dangerous.

In every case, Methylene Blue can achieve what nitric oxide does but in a much safer, healthier way.

The experience I had when taking Bluezone for first 6 months was like no other. I had insomnia and CPTSD for many years and the BluZone shifted so much of what my brain was struggling with whenever trying to sleep. I felt for the first time so calm and like I was in my own little soothing world, I no longer felt constantly anxious and overwhelmed mentally, and also found the combo of ashwaghanda (which is a nightshade I have since discovered) and BluZone within the hour of each other had even more impact on actually falling asleep. Dreams from BluZone became clearer, my mind was so calm, I was waking up no longer in CPTSD from the BluZone also. I listened to the story about the two dogs and brown snake and Bluezone, I cried. It also saved my dogs life a while back, he was on deaths door and I did BluZone and within 2 days he was back being his usual menice self, he was a 17 year old kelpie and the BluZone gave him another 1.5 months with us before he did pass but the results were incredible, it blew us away seeing that too and getting a bit more time to spend with him. Anyhoo, Blessings and thank you for what you guys do. I’d not make it without what you guys do. It’s been a hard road but I can always find the stability of miracles through you guys. – Natasha”

How to Integrate BluZone into Your Wellness Routine

Personally I enjoy a large glass of water infused with BluZone in the morning, generally after a cup of coffee.  Caffeine has an affinity with MB that increases metabolism and enhances fat burning!  Some prefer a small glass to consume their BluZone in a few gulps, while some drink it through a straw to help avoid the blue mouth. Others report that adding it to their juice disguises the taste successfully and helps mitigate the staining.

Blue staining of the mouth and teeth is easily removed by brushing your teeth with Pearly’s Tooth Polish!

Conclusion

The therapeutic effects of methylene blue are wide-ranging and continue to be the subject of extensive research. Some of the most promising areas include:

1. Neuroprotection: Methylene blue has demonstrated the ability to protect neurons from damage and improve cognitive function in various neurological conditions.

2. Antimicrobial activity: Its historical use as an antimalarial agent is just one example of its antimicrobial properties.  MB is well established as a potent antiviral, including SARS-CoV-2 and H1N1.  MB can inhibit the growth of bacteria, including Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). H. pylori are a bacterium largely responsible for peptic ulcers in the stomach and duodenum.

3. Reduction of Cellular Damage: Its antioxidant properties help protect cells from damage caused by the toxic by-products of poisoning, reducing the severity of poisoning effects and saving lives.

4. Mitochondrial enhancement: By boosting mitochondrial function, MB may help improve overall cellular health and energy production.

5. Cancer Treatment and Prevention: According to numerous studies, MB can help prevent cancer by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and reducing the number of mutations that lead to cancer.  MB has been shown to have potential as a cancer therapy due to its ability to target cancer cells and inhibit tumour growth.

6. Reduction of Oxidative Stress: MB acts as a potent antioxidant by scavenging reactive oxygen species and free radicals. This helps protect cells from oxidative damage, which is involved in aging and various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular conditions.

7. Enhancement of Oxygen Utilization: By restoring the ability of hemoglobin to carry oxygen, MB helps improve oxygen delivery to tissues and organs, especially in tissues where oxygen delivery is compromised, such as during sepsis or in cases of diminished blood supply.

8. Innervates Hydrogels and Nanotech: Live blood analysis is showing that even people who did not succumb to the promoted bioweapon have been poisoned with nanotech, hydrogels etc.  This suggests that these poisons have been spread via aerosol and/or the food and water supply.  Many live blood practitioners are confirming that BluZone is having a dramatic improvement innervating and clearing these issues. Dr. Mihalcea shows that in less than 24 hours all nanobots are disabled.

9. DNA Protection: Reduces damage to mitochondrial DNA by up to 30% and enhances DNA repair mechanisms.

AND SO MUCH MORE!

Harness the power of methylene blue to revolutionize your health and life.  20th Century scientific breakthroughs have revealed that virtually all diseases in existence are metabolic in origin, and that improving cellular mitochondrial function is the fastest way to restore health.

BluZone is an easy to use, extraordinary formula that covers such a vast array of benefits.  Protecting our brain and nervous system is crucial if you desire a long and happy life. MB not only protects all cells and tissues, it clears poisons providing a great asset to support daily detox. Our body’s natural state is health and vitality. When the body can neutralise its toxic load and increase oxygenation, it can heal and repair any dysfunction.

What’s more, when you’re perfectly healthy, low doses of methylene blue will enhance oxygen consumption, mitochondrial respiration and ATP production above baseline, basically optimizing the whole system.

MB acts as both a pro-oxidant and an antioxidant and it does this independent of oxygen. There’s an average of 30% upregulation in mitochondrial function.  So, it acts as a metabolic enhancer and not just an antidote for metabolic poisons and other inhibitory processes.  Methylene blue, a quinone-like molecule, is not just another supplement; it’s a powerful agent that can play an important role in achieving optimal health.
